Super tasty protein pancakes

These super tasty plant-based protein pancakes are the perfect balance of comfort and fuel. Soft, fluffy, and lightly golden, they’re naturally sweet and satisfying without feeling heavy. Made with wholesome ingredients like oats, banana, and Nothing Else™ Protein Isolate, they’re ideal for slow mornings, post-workout refuelling, or easy meal prep—proof that a high-protein, plant-based breakfast can be both nourishing and seriously delicious.

Serves: 2–3 (about 6–8 pancakes)

Ingredients

Dry

  • 1 cup rolled oats (or oat flour)
  • 30 g Nothing Else™ Faba Bean
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Wet

  • 1 cup unsweetened plant milk (almond, soy, or oat)
  • 1 ripe banana (or ¼ cup applesauce)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or date syrup (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (peanut or almond) — optional but 🔥 for flavour

Instructions

  1. Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth and pourable. If it’s too thick, add a splash more milk.
  2. Rest (important!). Let the batter sit for 5 minutes so the protein and oats hydrate—this makes fluffier pancakes.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium and lightly grease it.
  4. Pour ~¼ cup batter per pancake.
  5. Cook 2–3 minutes until bubbles form and edges set, then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden.
  6. Stack ‘em up and enjoy while hot.

  • Sautéed apples or bananas with cinnamon
